I have been a volunteer educator for over 10 years and I am currently enrolled in an ongoing teaching program that helps me improve my teaching ability. I have received my TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certification, and have been trained in 40 methods to increase language learning. My personal favorite is Massive Muscle Memory. I cannot wait to see my students improve their speaking skills, pronunciation, and grammar as they use these fun and interesting methods. I will use a textbook or documents of your choice, and/or I can teach you using my own if you do not have one you want to use. The focus of the course will be discussed with you and determined by your needs and goals. You choose what you want to talk and/or learn about. This includes but is not limited to: daily conversations, grammar practice, pronunciation, and accent reduction. This course is energetic, interactive and you (the student) will remember what you learn by using fun and motivating methods.
