How should I answer to the question, "What's up? (답변 : 2)
- I answered, I'm fine, but my friend told me that's wrong.

- The term "What's Up" is a casual greeting which is a shorter way of saying, "Hi. What are you doing?" or "What's the latest about you right now?". Now, you could clearly see how wrong your answer was since she was not asking about how you are. You could instead answer with some of the following: "Oh! Nothing much" or "Busy with school" or "Just Chillin". It could really be anything; just make sure it's a brief reply on what you're up to. Hope this helps. Cheers!

- what's up? or whazzup? or whassup? or whasabi?
its an informal or a slang greeting for "what's the update?" "whats's new?", "what's going on in your life?" or "what's happening?"
So you cant say "I'm fine" because the question is directed to new events in your life not you. Maybe you can say, "everything is up" or "everything's good".
If your friend asks you this but that friend is in a hurry, just nod your head, keep moving or say, "nota much wata bout u?" It's just a greeting or an acknowledgement. People don't actually want to know what's going on in your life. Never get too deep at first.
If a very close friend asks you this try saying "the sky", "the roof" or look up and say nothing or look up and smile at them as means of a joke.
If a relative asks you this or a family member you haven't seen for awhile say "nothing much", then change the subject.
If a stranger asks you this say nothing. That stranger is probably flirting with you. "Whats up?" can also mean "your attractive and I would like to know your name."
