[ About me ] ★★★ 현재 새학생을 위한 수업가능한 시간이 없습니다. ★★★ [온튜터 심사통과] I have been living in China for almost 10 years. It’s a very exciting place. I'm working there as an English and German teacher. In the beginning, I was working in large kindergartens but later I started in English training schools where the classes were smaller. I was also teaching German and English one on one. I really like to make learning a language fun for my students by using different tools, like stories and roll plays. When you have fun learning it’s much easier to remember what you’ve learned and you get a feeling for the language. As a teacher I like to have fun teaching too :). So my goal is to take the fear of speaking away. I'm trying to make my students comfortable speaking and using the language even if their grammar is wrong or they are missing words. I think students need a lot of encouragement. Actually that’s how I learn languages too. I just try using it even if I only know a little. I’m German, so my mother tongue is German. But English became a Language that is very close to my heart too. Since I’m in China I’m using Chinese every day and I’m already feeling comfortable using that language too. Lately I was traveling in Mozambique, they speak Portuguese there. So I did what I encourage my students to do: just trying to use every word I know as often as possible.
