After studying science in university and being very disappointed with the curriculum, I started to consider becoming an English teacher. I realized that I had received special training as an instructor because I took part in a 3 year program in highschool were the students were responsible for teaching students. I was working at HSBC bank Canada at the time and I really like the personal aspect of the job but I really hated the business end of it. So, I made the decision to become an ESL instructor in March 2002 and I have not looked back ever since. Since then I have given classes in a wide variety of settings from one- on-one to small groups, high schools and universities. I took some time of teaching English and found myself crying because I missed my students so much. So here I am again, back in the ESL world and hoping to serve you as good as a human being can. |
